Two Stoughton Explorers are selected for World Jamboree in Japan in 2015

Two Stoughton Explorers (Miki and Jordan) have been selected to represent Guildford West as part of the Surrey contingent for the Scout World Jamboree in Japan in 2015.

Chief Scout Awards

Congratulations to 5 Explorers who have just received their Chief Scout awards. They undertook verious challenges as Scouts to receive this award.

Beavers celebrate 25th birthday at Legoland.

On Saturday 8th October, 18 Beavers from our colony joined over 9,000 other Beavers from all over the south of England at Legoland Windsor.This was to celebrate 25 years of Beaver scouting. We had a fun filled day, visiting all the attractions,singing Happy Birthday on mass,and of course visiting the shop!

Scout Leader awarded Medal of Merit

Scout Leader Paul, is awarded Medal of Merit for his long standing contribution to Scouting in the Guildford Area.

Scoutabout 2011

AGM 2011

We have arranged our Annual General Meeting for Thursday 16th June, starting at 7:30 at the hut. The meeting will be followed by drinks and nibbles and a chance to talk to the leaders and committee.

Cubs come 2nd and 3rd in District Competitions

Cubs come 2nd in the district indoor challenge. They also come 3rd in the district quiz. Well done cubs!
